CCTV images have been released after stones were thrown at cars on a motorway.
Essex Police have released the images as they continue to investigate the incident on the M25 on August 17 and 18.
The police would like to speak to the three people pictured after five reports were made of stones being thrown at vehicles between junction 27 and 28.
At least two heavy goods vehicles had their windscreens damaged.
The incidents were reported between 11.15pm on Monday August 17 and 9.55pm on Tuesday August 18.
Det Sgt David Wilkinson said: “We appreciate the images are not the clearest but hope they will jog someone’s memory.
"It is fortunate no-one was hurt but this reckless behaviour could have put drivers at serious risk of harm.”
