(Al29 Rayleigh Road, Hutton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of A129 Rayleigh Road, Hutton in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Hutton Village, south east for a distance of approximately 290 metres to its junction with Hutton Court.
The closure is scheduled for 1 night between the hours of 7.00pm to 6.00am within a 4 week period due to commence on 23 January 2012 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway surfacing works are undertaken.
For westbound traffic the alternative route will be via — Laindon Road, A178 Noak Hill Road, A127 Southend Arterial Road (westbound track), Al28 Brentwood Road/Ingrave Road, A129 Shenfield
Road/Hutton Road/ Rayleigh Road.
For eastbound traffic the alternative route is the reverse of the above.
Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.
The Order will come into effect on 23 January 2012 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
