If you’re brimming with ideas and enjoy chatting with people, then a job as a telesales executive with the Gazette could be for you.
Sophie Hartley, 19, has been in the role for a year and finds it rewarding and fun.
She says: “The people I work with are lovely and supportive.
“They are good fun to be around and in the year I have been here I have built good working relationships with my customers too, which it a vital part of the role and adds to the job satisfaction.
“An important part of this job is that I am encouraged to come up with my own ideas and follow them through.
“It gives me the chance to really make this job my own, launch products and see them through.
It makes what I do rewarding and I am given a lot of support from colleagues when I need it.”
Sophie chose to follow a career in telesales when she realised she was keen to get into the world of work instead of continuing to study. She has
not looked back.
She says: “It is a fun job but it is hard work, too. Anyone interested in doing this job has to be motivated. If you are, there are many ways you can progress and develop.”
