Firms  looking to export to new countries around the world can attend a conference to find out how.
Essex County Council is hosting the event next month, the first of its kind in the region, to share information on funding to support plans to break into new international markets.
Experts from the UK and EU will speak about four business-focused 2014-2020 EU funding programmes at the event.
Kevin Bentley, Essex County councillor responsible for economic growth and infrastructure, said: “We understand businesses are hungry for growth and are also seeking to break into new international markets.
“This conference will help businesses to find funding and access the support required to make it happen.”
The conference will be held on Thursday, February 26, at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford, with the option to attend a morning or afternoon session.
Each half-day includes an Essex Means Business networking session.
Presentations during the session include overall EU funding picture and an in-depth coverage of the main funding
programmes. Breakout sessions will include topics on business funding for growth, jobs and opportunities for big business in Europe.
Delegates will be able to find out what the programmes mean for their organisations.
