School hails young maths prodigy

AN 11-year-old maths prodigy has become the youngest person to study for an A-level at Brentwood School.

Andrew Ejemai achieved an A* in the more difficult International GCSE when he was just nine years old, and could pass the A-level by the end of the school year.

Headmaster Ian Davies said: “We have lots of talented mathematicians, but Andrew is exceptional.

“Not only is he a wonderful mathematician, he throws himself into the wider life of the school and loves playing sport with his own year group.”
