A BAKERY from Brentwood has helped launch a free breakfast club at a primary school.
Greggs Bakery, in High Street, has agreed to supply food to Shelley Primary School, Ongar, for their Gracelands Breakfast Club, which will run before each school day.
Between 8.15am and 8.50am, children will be able to eat toast, cereal, yoghurt and fruit all served up by parents, grandparents and volunteers from the school.
Along with the Greggs Foundation, the charity arm of the bakery, the project is also being supported by Loughton-based firm Gracelands Complete Maintenance Services and BBC’s Children in Need.
