Snow set to hit Brentwood

Residents are being advised to take care when travelling with up to 10cm of snow forecasted for Brentwood.
Essex County Council's fleet of 60 gritters will be operating around the county over Friday, Saturday and Sunday as the cold snap strikes the region.
Salt will be applied to major A and B roads along with rural link roads, emergency service access points and routes used by public transport.

Some train services on the Greater Anglia line travelling through Ingatestone, Shenfield and Brentwood have also been cancelled or altered ahead of the snowfall.
