Text to pay for car parking
7:10am Thursday 14th February 2013 in News
MOTORISTS will be able to pay for car parking in Brentwood through a new text messaging service launched yesterday.
Brentwood Council has set up Phone and Pay parking to allow residents to send a message after they get to the car park rather than putting money in the machine.
Car parks which will use the scheme are William Hunter Way, Friars Avenue, Hunters Avenue, Town Hall and King George’s Playing Field.
The service will also be available in the form of a smart phone app.
