Car stolen from Shenfield station car park

A CAR was stolen from a parking lot outside of Shenfield train station which had been left there overnight.
The owner of a blue Ford Focus RS left the vehicle in the Hunters Avenue car park at 9.30pm on February 14, only to return the next morning to discover it had been taken.
Officers from British Transport Police are investigating the incident which their enquiries so far leading them to believe the car was stolen at around 10.10pm on the night the owner parked it at the station.
They are now appealing for witnesses to come forward to help with their investigations.
Sgt Emma Weir said: “The victim left his blue Ford Focus RS at the Hunters Avenue car park, locked and secure, around 9.30pm on Thursday, 14 February.
“When he returned the following morning, he discovered his car had been stolen.
“I’d appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw any suspicious behaviour in the surrounding area at the time, to come forward.”
