Creche experiment set for theatre

A BABYSITTING scheme is to be piloted at Brentwood Theatre for people to use when attending a show.

Over the forthcoming season, Liz Francis who runs Hopscotch Day Nursery will set up a creche facility at the venue in Shenfield Road when space is available.

The group will be based in the theatre’s Audrey Longman Studio which is occasionally used as a dressing room and will cost £10.

Children aged from three months old to ten years old will be able to use the facility with the first two dates set for May 12 and May 16.

Anyone interested in using the creche must pay for it at least 24 hours beforehand and it is only available for families going to watch a show at the theatre.

For more information, call Ms Francis on 07825 017056.
