Rotary thumbs up to defibrillator bid
7:00am Friday 20th September 2013 in News
BRENTWOOD a Becket Rotary Club is supporting a national cardiac campaign by donating a defibrillator to St Martin’s School.
The club has joined forces with cardiac charity SADS UK’s national Big Shock Campaign.
Training at the Hutton school will be carried out by the Ambulance Service.
The SADS UK Big Shock Campaign is urging the Government to bring forward legislation to make defibrillators available in all schools.
Meanwhile the charity is working with schools and the community to put lifesaving defibrillators in place.
