Schools in Brentwood affected by teachers' strike
4:00pm Monday 30th September 2013 in News
A large number of Brentwood pupils will have the day off tomorrow as teachers take industrial action.
Anglo European School in Ingatestone will be shut to all students as members of the National Union of Teachers and National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers strike over a row regarding pay, pensions and working conditions on October 1.
Shenfield High School will also be closed for an inset day rather than because of strike action and will reopen for their open evening due to start at 5pm.
St Martin's in Hutton and the Ursuline Convent will both be open for Sixth Form students only.
The Brentwood School, Brentwood County High and Becket Keys will all be open as normal.
