Trees blown over in Brentwood by stormy weather
9:37am Monday 28th October 2013 in News
ISSUES have been caused to motorists and residents in Brentwood after a number of trees were blown down in strong winds.
Reports of trees falling along roads including the A128 in Kelvedon Hatch and Ingrave Road came in on Monday as the worst storm to hit the south of England in 26 years.
Shenfield Common was particularly badly hit with a number of trees falling or splitting due to the winds.
Commuters also suffered problems during morning rush hour as all train services from Shenfield and Brentwood were cancelled by Greater Anglia as they took precautions against the weather conditions.
