At about 11pm on December 14 the victim was approached by two men who demanded he hand over his iPhone 5, worth £400.

The victim was left with facial and back injuries requiring hospital treatment.

"We are following up a number of enquiries into this incident and I would implore anyone who witnessed the incident and saw what took place to get in touch with police immediately."
Both men are described as white and 5’10” with one having black hair and wearing a red Ralph Lauren long-sleeved top, while the other had blond hair with a combover and was wearing a white top.
