POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hospitalised after being assaulted in Brentwood High Street.
Officers were called to the Slug and Lettuce at about 12.15am on Saturday after reports of a disturbance at the bar.
A police spokeswoman confirmed a 19-year-old woman was taken to Queen's Hospital for treatment on a chipped tooth following the incident.
Anyone with information is urged to contact officers at Brentwood Police Station on 101.
