POLICE are hoping to speak with the city banker shot in the leg outside Shenfield Station in the next few days.

Robin Clark, 44, remains in a serious condition in Basildon Hospital following the shooting in the Mount Avenue car park on Friday morning.

Officers from British Transport Police have said their investigations are continuing over the attack.

A force spokesman said: "The victim of the attack currently remains in hospital with a serious leg injury and we hope he will be fit enough to be interviewed by officers in the next couple of days."
