Clubber assaulted in Brentwood town centre

A MAN was punched and kicked in a central Brentwood street after going out clubbing on January 19.

At about 1.30am the 22-year-old was approached by two males in William Hunter Way shortly after leaving Sugar Hut nightclub.

The pair assaulted him leaving the victim with cuts and bruises to his head and face.

Police are now searching the culprits and have released a picture a man they want to indentify in relation to the incident.

The two suspects are described as white, aged 21 to 22-years-old, both of skinny build, and around 6ft tall.

One was wearing a grey top over a white shirt and jeans.

Anyone who recognises the man in the picture or who has any other information about the assault is asked to call PC Thomas Buchanan at Brentwood Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
