Brentwood mayor to be given flag for event
A FLAG will be presented to Brentwood's mayor as part of celebration of the Commonwealth.
Madeline Henwood will have the flag handed over to her by Lord Petre, Lord Lieutenant of Essex, as part of Fly A Flag for the Commonweath day which will take place on March 10.
Mrs Henwood will be at the launch event at Ingatestone Hall which will celebrate the Commonwealth along with other representatives of councils in Essex.
She said: "This is chance for people who live, study or work in Brentwood to join together with others throughout the Commonwealth in the spirit of respect to mark this occasion."
