CROOKS took a £12,000 haul of gold jewellery from a house in Brentwood on Thursday January 23.

A trio of men forced their way into the home in Costead Manor Road adjacent to The Retreat at some point between 3pm and 4.30pm.

They then stole the items before driving off in a grey-coloured estate car believed to be an Audi.

An efit and description of one of the group has been released by police officers investigating the case.

The male is described as white, slim, in his early 20s, 5ft 8ins tall, had short-brown hair combed over in a fashionable style and wore a dark coloured zipped–up tracksuit top, blue jeans and trainers.

Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at Brentwood police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
