THE Essex Robin Hood Game and Country Shows take place at the Brentwood Centre this weekend.
One of the largest fairs in the county, the event will showcase an array of stalls and activities.
Within the country area will be gun dog shows, scurries, lurcher racing, ferret racing, sheep sheering shows and lots more.
The family section will offer exciting jousting tournaments, karate displays, impressive falconry and owl performances, 'have a go' archery, the medieval village, paintball, zorbing, inflatable fun zone and lots more fairground amusements.
There will also be an “All About Dogs” section, hosting arena displays, ‘have-a-go’ activities, breed stands and hundreds of canine themed shopping stands.
The event runs at the Doddinghurst Road centre across Saturday and Sunday.
The show opens at 10am on both days and finishes 5pm.
