A WOMAN has been left homeless after a fire ripped through her home in Hutton.

Fire fighters were called to a fire in a second floor flat on Hawksmoor Green at about 12.30am this morning.

When crews, from Brentwood and Billericay, arrived they found the building heavily smoke logged. They wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire by 1.34pm.
