THE winners of this year’s Brentwood in Bloom pubs competition have been announced.
The competition, run by the Brentwood Brewing Company, is open to all pubs in the borough who sell their beer.
In total, 18 pubs entered this year. The Essex Arms and The Brewery Tap, Brentwood, won.
The Hutton Junction, The Viper in Mill Green and the White Hart Inn, Margaretting Tye, were all very highly commended.
Their prize included vouchers giving them discount of kegs of the local brew for their respective pubs.
Roland Kannor, Brentwood Brewing Company managing director, said: “We’re thrilled that so many local pubs entered this year’s competition.
“The Hutton Junction and The Essex Arms are worthy winners as they have nurtured their plants from seed, which demonstrates the time and dedication they put into their gardens.”
