POLICE investigating a crash involving a quad bike in Hall Lane, Shenfield on Sunday, August 17, are appealing for witnesses.
A 23-year-old man collided with a telegraph pole and received serious head injuries at about 7.30pm.
The man, who lives locally, was taken by ambulance to Queens Hospital in Romford and is currently described as in a critical but stable condition.
Police want to hear from any witnesses to the incident, or who saw the blue and white Yamaha quad bike, riding in company with a blue motorbike.
Any witnesses are urged to contact Pc Rayner at Chelmsford Road Policing unit on 101.
