GET ready to see a whole lot more of Joey Essex...in the run-up to next year’s General Election.
The Towie star has revealed Labour leader Ed Miliband is keen to sign him up in the run-up to next May.
Joey and Miliband have been pictured together on numerous occasions taking selfies.
Speaking to the Radio Times, Joey said: “Ed Miliband keeps asking me for my number.
“He’s invited me to his house a few times. I think he wants me as an ambassador, because I’ll bring young people to his crib, his crew – the Labour Party.”
Joey was speaking ahead of the third episode in his mini-series Educating Joey Essex, which sees him travelling the world learning about everything from nature to UFOs.
He said he believes travelling was a better way of learning than being sat in a classroom. The I’m A Celebrity star said: “I wasn’t interested in sitting in maths exams, I couldn’t even hold a pen properly.
“I couldn’t write and I couldn’t really read that well.”
