STAFF celebrated the opening of a revamped Brentwood bar with fire-eaters and stilt-walkers.
The Slug and Lettuce bar on the High Street reopened on Friday night after undergoing a £150,000 revamp.
The investment saw the introduction of a Costa Coffee and created 15 new jobs. A new VIP area was also added upstairs.
Glen O'Connor, manager of the Slug and Lettuce Brentwood, welcomed guests to the VIP launch on Friday night - kickstarting a weekend of fun at the new-look bar.
He said: "Everyone enjoyed the launch of our great new look venue. Fire breathers and stilt walkers provided brilliant entertainment throughout the evening.
"We are looking forward to welcoming newcomers and locals alike to the bar, to enjoy our great dining space and excellent wines."
