Rising house prices are blamed for children staying with their parents longer

A RECENT survey by homeless charity Shelter has revealed 35 per cent of people in Brentwood aged 20 to 34 live with their parents because they can’t afford to get on the property ladder.

The survey showed one in four people nationally of those ages live at home with their parents due to rising house prices.
