STARBUCKS in Brentwood High Street is undergoing a revamp.

The town's branch of the popular coffee shop chain closed over a month ago without explanation.

A bright green sign placed on the windor of the shop door simply  told customers that the branch is closed and that other stores can be found in Chelmsford and Brentwood.

And in recent weeks, the shops windows have been covered.

Now Starbucks has announced that the store is actually undergoing a renovation and will reopen "in a few weeks".
