THE return of a road race resulted in a great return for a local hospice...
The BNY Mellon Brentwood 10k road race returned to the streets of Essex in July, with more than 300 people taking part in the race organised by the Thrift Green Trotters. It raised £1,500 for St Francis Hospice.
Lynda Head, from the hospice, said: “The Trotters have been superb supporters of our work caring for local people and the families affected by a life-limiting illness for many years now and we wish them every success with their future race events.”
