Businesses can get free advice at an event aimed at improving sales next month.
The event on Tuesday, May 19, will be held from 9am to 12.30pm at the Town Hall, Ingrave Road, Brentwood.
The session 'Improve Your Sales and Win More Business' is the third in a series of business support events that Brentwood Borough Council's Economic Development team have run with business improvement specialists Pro-actions.
It will look at understanding the need for a sales process, what it is and how to improve it to increase sales and profit.
It will specifically focus on:
• How to improve your sales success rate and win more customers
• The need for a structured sales process and planning your next move
• Critical success factors that will help increase your sales
• The best techniques for selling face-to-face, over the phone and online
• Things you can action right away to improve your sales and make more conversions
Colin Blore, from Essex Pro-actions, said: "For businesses to grow you have to sell more of your products or services to more people, more often.
"Knowing the best techniques for sales can help improve your success.
"This free training session will help you understand the sales process and make the most of sales."
