Young people with additional needs can enjoy picnics, den building and a trip to the theatre in London during the upcoming May half term holiday.

A holiday club is running at Brentwood during the holiday and in addition to the trips, activities at the clubs will include arts and crafts, cookery, sports and Wii-fit games.

The clubs run from 10am and 3pm and are suitable for people aged 11 and over.

The Trust runs youth clubs across the East of England.

These clubs give hundreds of young people the opportunity to have fun and make friends.

As well as the holiday clubs in Essex, Papworth Trust also runs weekly youth clubs during school term time.

Helen Stanley and Gayle Kiff, Transitions Business Managers at Papworth Trust said: “Disabled young people want somewhere to go to make new friends and have fun.

"So we run youth clubs where they can get together and enjoy trying out a variety of activities such as cooking, sport, music and dancing.

"Come along this half term and find out what we do.”
