The Brentwood Chamber of Commerce had the opportunity to ask questions about Nick Alston's priorities for Essex Police at their Annual General meeting.
Mr Alston, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Essex, delivered a speech about his role and spoke about his aims for the county during the meeting on Thursday.
He spoke about his hopes to tackle domestic abuse and 'hidden' crimes such as slavery and human trafficking and answered several questions from the chamber.
