Brentwood Council are looking for people to get involved and help light up Brentwood and Shenfield HIgh Streets this Christmas. 

Lighting Up Brentwood will be held on Saturday, November 28, from 12noon - 6pm, in and around Brentwood High Street and will include entertainment throughout the day and market-style stalls in the High Street and Crown Street offering local produce, food and gifts.

The following day (Sunday, November 29) the Shenfield Christmas Fayre will take place between 1pm and 6pm in Hutton Road, Shenfield. 

There will be live entertainment as well as rides and activities for all the family.

For both events the council is looking for sponsors and advertisers (the deadline for applications is 16 October 2015) volunteer stewards, and local performers and entertainers.

Brentwood Borough Council's Chair of the Community and Health Committee, Councillor Will Russell, said: "We are looking forward to our Christmas events this year, which are always good family events and have something for people of all ages to enjoy.

"They are the perfect opportunity for businesses and local people to get involved, whether you would like to sponsor, perform or volunteer - but make sure you get in touch before the deadline closes."
