Enjoy a trip down memory lane with a traditional game of conkers at the Brentwood Brewery, which is holding an open conker championship on Saturday.
The brewery will supply the conkers,a free pint of Brentwood Beer and a Lumberjack sausage in a roll.
Brewery chief Roland Kannor said: “Who doesn’t enjoy a game of conkers?
“We thought it would be a great idea to get everyone together to enjoy this truly British, Autumn pastime.
“What a great way to spend a Saturday – a fun competition and beer.
“What’s not to like?”
Challenge your friends to a match and enjoy some Brentwood beers at the bar, which is open until 3.30pm.
Entry is £5 per person and the competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over.
