Spargo Hairdressing has fought off stiff competition to win a place in the finals for the Salon Business Awards.
The salon, based at Weald Road, was nominated in the Education Salon of the Year category, which received hundreds of entries.
Salon owner Ian Marshall, said: "We’re so excited to be finalists in the Salon Business Awards and are counting down the days until the awards ceremony - fingers crossed.
"Our training focuses on the individuals and we make every effort to get to know them and their aspirations, strengths and weaknesses.
"Our salon mantra is to chase your passion and the money will come- chase money and you may never find your passion."
Spargo have been recognised as one of just six salons in the UK for its high quality of staff training and education.
The finals will be held on Monday July 4 at Madison’s rooftop cocktail bar in London, St Pauls.
