FLOODING has caused train cancellations and traffic jams in Essex.

Trains services into and out of London Liverpool Street may be delayed, cancelled or revised, according to Abellio Greater Anglia.

Severe flooding at Manor Park means that trains are stopping at Shenfield or Ilford.

Disruption on Abellio Great Anglia trains is expected until 10am.

Trains affected include the 7.33am service from Southend which has been cancelled.

A further 50 trains will be cancelled.

Delays of roughly an hour will affect 32 services.

And if you were hoping to drive, two lanes of the A12 have been closed at J14 Margaretting due to flooding.

Queues are back to J19 Hatfield Peverel.

The downpour has also affected the A127 at the Fortune of War where there is flooded Londonbound on the roundabout. Traffic is getting through very slowly but there are queues back to Dunton.

There are also tailbacks between Rayleigh Weir and Progress Road.
