The popular Brentwood Arts Cinema club continues its run on Sunday with a screening of Ida.
Released in 2014 the film won the 2015 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
The film, directed by Pavel Pawlikowski, tells the tale of a novitiate nun on the verge of taking her vows, who discovers a dark family secret dating back to the Nazi Occupation.
New members can join the club, at the United Reformed Church Hall, New Road, Brentwood, for a reduced price of £16 for the remainder of the season and guests are welcome for a fee of £5.
