COME in for a nice cuppa and help a charity with the big brew up.
Town Mayor of Maldon David Denyer is inviting people to come to a tea party in the historic Moot Hall to help raise money for his principal charity - The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA).
Tea, coffee and homemade cake - donated by the Maldon Women’s Institute - will be available on Thursday October 16 and Friday October 17 for just £2 from 2pm till 4pm.
Mr Denyer said: “I need your help to make a difference to the lives of past and present heroes of our Armed Forces and their families. Please pop in to say hello and enjoy a nice cuppa for a good cause.”
