A BOOK on Burma is the latest offering by a successful travel writer.
Patrick Forsyth, of Saltcote Maltings, Maldon, has now completed his second travel book about the land now known as Myanmar.
Called A land like none you know - a title adapted from a quotation from Rudyard Kipling - the book is described by the author as “light-hearted in tone.
“It is also unashamedly evangelical about the country, which is just a magical place - its history, culture and atmosphere are like no other.”
The book features a journey from Mandalay primarily along the Ayeyardwady ***cor*** river.
It is the second offering about travel from Mr Forsyth following on from First class at last about a journey on the luxury eastern and oriental train from Singapore to Bangkok.
Mr Forsyth had previously written a series of books on business and self-help.
The book is available at all good bookshops and online sites originally priced £8.99
