Stolen van discovered - thanks to technology

A VAN was found in Kelvedon Hatch on Sunday, September 2, after it had been stolen.
Police were called to the village at about 9pm when a tracker device on the Mercedes Sprinter van, which had been installed by the vehicle’s owner, was activated.
The van had been stolen from an address in Hornchurch.
After a thorough search of the area, which included officers on foot and in a helicopter, the vehicle was found in Broadmeadow shortly after 9.30pm.
A spokeswoman for Essex Police confirmed inquiries are ongoing.
