Police appeal after four hurt in smash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses of a road crash which left four people injured.
The smash, involving two Ford Transit vans and a teenage bicycle rider, happened in St Mary’s Lane, West Horndon, near the junction of Childerditch Lane at about 9.30am on September 12.
Paramedics had to rush all four passengers to hospital, with three suffering serious leg, pelvic, spinal and head injuries.
Police have now called for witnesses who may have seen the collision happen to help with further investigations being conducted.
Anyone with information about the crash is urged to call the Chigwell road policing unit on 101.
