A WOMAN was left with a suspected leg fracture and pelvic injuries after becoming trapped between a car and a wall.
At about 5.10pm on September 19, a silver BMW collided with a parked red Honda Civic in Post Office Road, Ingatestone.
As a result of the crash, the woman, in her 20s, who was walking past, was hit and became trapped.
She was treated for injuries, which have been described as “serious”, at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Broomfield Hospital, in Chelmsford.
Lorna Marsh, spokeswoman for East of England Ambulance service, said: “Paramedics gave pain relief on the scene and stabilised the woman before taking her to Broomfield Hospital for a suspected fractured thigh bone and possible pelvic injuries.
“While the injuries were nasty they were not critical.”
Police officers had to close off the road until 9pm.
Essex Police are appealing for eye-witnesses. Call officers at the Chigwell road policing unit on 101.
