Burglars cause £1,000 damage in raid

BURGLARS caused £1,000 of damage during a burglary in Billericay.

Thieves targeted the house in Outwood Common Road, Billericay, sometime between 12.35pm and 4.30pm on Monday, August 25.

They got into the property by smashing through the French doors at the back of the house causing around £1,000 of damage.

Nothing was stolen.

this is worrying, considering I live a few doors down. Police told us there had been a major burglary, yet nothing had been stolen. Regularly walk my dog behind the house on the farmer's field and their house is very open to theives.
