A “TOOTHLESS” woman and a “fat” man were part of a gang that stole £900 of perfume and cosmetics from Boots.

The group of five went in to Boots at the Mayflower Retail Park, Basildon at about 1.20pm on Sunday and took various items out the staff-only cabinet.

The thieves included a short, fat white man aged in late forties to early fifties.

He had short, grey, hair and was wearing black trousers and a black fleece.

With him was a white man aged in his early twenties with faded, dyed, red, hair tied back in a pony tail.

He was wearing a black vest and trousers.

Another thief was a white skinny woman, about 5 feet 4 inches with brown-red dyed hair.

She was wearing a white t-shirt with a purple heart on it.

The fourth member of the group was a white woman aged in her early fifties with a tooth missing at the front.

She was wearing a long, beige, jumper dress, black leggings and black ballet slippers.

The final suspect was a white man aged in his late forties with short, dark hair, a blue polo shirt and dark trousers.
