RUSSELL Brand read extracts from his new book to school children in Grays earlier today.
The comedian/actor visited his hometown to meet school children and to read from The Pied Piper of Hamelin.
Brand took to the stage at Thameside Theatre, in Orsett Road, to read from the children’s book, before heading to intu Lakeside to sign copies of his recently published Revolution.
Isabel Fisher, 11, who attends Hathaway Academy in Hathaway Road, said: “I was excited to see him. It was fun. I’ve watched his films before.
“He also answered questions and people asked him about his films. I also got a signed copy of his book.”
