DETECTIVES are continuing to probe the death of a baby girl at a house in Laindon.
Apost-mortem examination is due to take place later this week on the child who died after becoming unwell at a house in Gaywood at 4.30am on Monday.
Police were called to the house by ambulance crews at about 5am after reports the child was suffering cardiac arrest.
She was rushed to Basildon Hospital however, despite the best efforts of doctors, she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives and police forensics teams began searching the property in Gaywood for clues on Monday and Tuesday. Police say nobody has been arrested.
