HYDE HALL has announced its schedule of shows, festivals and exhibitions ahead of the autumn and winter season.
Beginning in September, the likes of pumpkin carving, craft events and children’s half-term fun will be coming to the RHS gardens, in Creephedge Lane, to delight and inspire every garden lover.
The programme of events will open on September 1, with Textiles in the Garden, whichwill run until September 14.
The Autumn Plant Fair Weekend will come to the gardens on September 20-21, which will provide an ideal opportunity for garden lovers to stock up on seasonal plants.
Other events in September include a question session on lawn care and a cooking demonstration from Saira Hamilton – Masterchef semi-finalist – who will be serving up fine Bengali food over chili pepper weekend.
Highlights in October include an autumn festival on October 18- 19, a pumping-carving session on October 25, and then an array of children’s activities from October 28-31 over the school half-term.
On November 22 and 23, the Essex Craft and Design Show will give visitors the chance to buy Christmas gifts from a variety of local artists craft makers.
