THREE people from Essex, including a 36-year-old man from Chelmsford, have been arrested on suspicion of a £2.2 million tax fraud.
The suspects were arrested this month in early morning raids at properties in Chelmsford, Braintree and Dagenham. They are alleged to have set up a scheme of sub-contractors within the civil engineering industry with the sole intention of defrauding the tax authorities.
All have been bailed until March 2015.
