A primary school has welcomed a new headteacher.
Nicola Morgan-Soane has joined Trinity Road School the school as the new headteacher after moving from her role as Deputy Head for a primary school in East London.
She said: "There is a very warm feeling among the children, parents and staff.
"The children are happy and well looked after.
"The building is very attractive and all of these points helped me to realise that this was the right place for me.
"My vision for the school is to ensure that every single child reaches their fullest learning potential.
"This will be achieved through developing a strong culture of learning among children, parents and staff, with excellent teaching and support to enable children to aim high and achieve their best.
"I look forward to getting to know more children, families and colleagues throughout Chelmsford in the coming weeks and months."
