Thieves steal cash from Chelmsford primary school
Thieves stole £30 in cash after breaking into a Chelmsford primary school.
The intruders broke in through a window at Lawford Mead Junior School, in Trent Road, on Tuesday, February 10, between 9pm and 11pm.
Once inside, they forced open a door to steal the money from an office.
Anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area or who has any other information which could help police is asked to call PC Andrew Holmes at Chelmsford police station on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
