New Hall School has appointed a new head to look after pupils in Years Seven to 11. 

Suzanna Minnis will take on the newly created role of Head of Girls’ and Boys’ Divisions and will take a leading role in the pastoral care of New Hall School students in Years 7-11, nurturing their academic, personal, moral and faith development.

Katherine Jeffrey, Principal at New Hall School said: “We are delighted that Mrs Minnis will be joining the Senior Leadership Team in this important new pastoral role.

"At New Hall, we put great emphasis on the personal and academic development of each child and we believe this appointment is further evidence of this commitment.

"Having been dedicated to the care of New Hall students in her role as Tutor, Head of Year and Head of Upper School (Girls’ Division) over the past 7 years, we have no doubt that Mrs Minnis will enjoy great success in this new role.”

Mrs Minnis will take up the post of Head of Girls’ & Boys’ Divisions from 15 April 2015.

Mrs Minnis is also a teacher of Art and a public examination board examiner for Edexcel Art and Design at GCSE Level.

As a practising artist, Mrs Minnis will continue to specialise in digital image manipulation and film, Fine Art and photography.
